Galway Kettlebell Club competed at the Limerick Grand Prix five minute competition held at the Delta Dome in Limerick on Saturday 18th June.
Coached by Sarah Smith there were 5 athletes from the Galway club competing at the event.
The club took home two medals, a gold and silver by Sarah Smith who competed in the professional division lifting 24kg.
Gold in Snatch discipline 24kg achieving 66 reps and silver in Long Cycle 24kg discipline achieving 45 reps with a bodyweight of 63.8kg.
Over 100 athletes from clubs throughout Ireland competed including juniors,youths,adults,novices ,professionals and veterans.
Sarah Smith is fresh from a recent gold win at the European Championships in Gdansk in Poland in May.
She is currently training for a grand prix Latvia in July where she will compete and represent as an AIKLF official at the Youths European Championships.
