Setting a challenge, not a goal is the secret to keep motivated with your new year’s resolutions!
It’s the end of January, and for some of you, you are feeling the benefits of your new year’s resolutions of getting fitter, but for most of us sticking to our new year’s resolutions has almost gone out the window!
According to fitness expert Cian Doyle from Icon Gym “An easy way to improve the accountability of sticking to your new year’s resolution is by signing up to a challenge such as a marathon or a 10km race for charity”
We are competitive in nature and completing a challenge helps you stick to the task instead of focusing purely focusing on the goal!
If you focus completing the challenge, the end result will be that you will have reached your weight-loss and fitness goals and even raised money for a good cause in the process!
