Disasters can strike at any time in any place. The Red Cross is one of the oldest humanitarian organisations in the world. We are first on the scene and are dedicated to bringing help to people in crisis who have little or nothing.
Your support will make an immediate difference to the lives of those in need here at home and throughout the world. Thanks to you, Irish Red Cross volunteers can be ready to help when flooding strikes, like it did in Cork last year and at events – keeping communities safe from harm. Internationally you are helping the Irish Red Cross respond quickly to natural disasters and to continue our long term projects, in countries like Niger and India. Right now, the Irish Red Cross is helping people affected by the migration crisis and the ongoing conflicts in Syria and Yemen.
