Gerry Cronnelly and Eddie Quinn Monivea Boxing Club, who are organising the Great Rocky Run, a relay run from Monivea, Co. Galway to Phoenix Park in Dublin. Starting on Saturday the 13th September the 24+ hour run will attract marathon and long distance runners alike accompanied by amateur boxers from clubs from all over Ireland. Every registered runner will don the grey tracksuit and red headband of the iconic Rocky Balboa image and can opt in and out of the run as it progresses to Dublin. All proceeds to Console the National Suicide Prevention, Intervention and Postvention Charity.
