When it comes to finding your way around, there are plenty of high-tech solutions to help you navigate. But Italian designer, Marco Zagaria, decided it was time to streamline the entire process with the Ubivade – Vibrating navigation belt.
It’s a stylish, fine Italian belt (for him or her) that’s packed with hidden technology.
The wearer is given turn-by-turn directions via tactile vibrations emanated from strategically placed built-in motors within the belt.
Ubivade connects wirelessly to your smartphone, with its intuitive app, giving you full control.
The company’s goal is to solve all the common problems related to navigation and now you won’t have to worry about all the distractions and safety issues experienced with standard navigation systems.
And you can add a cool pop to your wardrobe at the same time!
The company is also planning the development of a navigation system for blind people, integrating an “assistant” mode into their app that gives more frequent tactile-feedback and a voice-activated configuration.
The system is compatible with Android and IOS.
