1escape gym in Dublin attempt to break Guinness World Record with the world’s largest exercise class

September 9, 2016 by admin

On 15th September, the eve of National Fitness Day, 1escape gym in Dublin will be attempting to break a Guinness World Record for the largest exercise ball class in the world. Successfully achieving this record means that Dublin will secure its place in the official Guinness book of world records.

Ciara Lefroy, Sales and Marketing Director said “We anticipate a huge amount of interest in this community event, which is in aid of MS Ireland. It will provide a unique opportunity for the community to come together for a 30 min exercise class in the historic Smithfield Market. We need 400 participants in order to break the world record so every registration counts”

National Fitness Day is a day to celebrate the vital role that physical activity brings across Ireland. This event is organised by 1escape health club in order to be a part of a nationwide project to raise awareness and celebrate physical activity. “This year 1escape are aiming to raise awareness for National Fitness Day to make it the most active day of the year. We are asking members, stakeholders, the public and all those committed to get more people, more active, more often to pledge to do get active with us on Thursday 15th September at our exercise event”

The event is free and open to everyone over the age of 16.  Everyone who registers will receive a complimentary exercise ball on the day.
