Healthwave Brings Affordable Medication To Galway

September 28, 2015 by LifeandFitness

Healthwave, the Irish pharmacy offering up to 90% savings on prescription medications, has opened a store in Galway. The low price pharmacy, which disrupted the Irish market significantly when it launched in Dundrum in 2014, provides transparent pricing and universal access to affordable medication through its HealthPass subscription service. Healthwave now has 2 stores in Dundrum, Dublin and Sean Mulvoy Road, Galway.

“We have had a very strong and loyal customer base in Galway who avail of our unique low pricing model. Our Healthwave pharmacists have providing great care and attention to customers directly in their homes through our mobile pharmacist service and we would like to continue that with the opening of the Galway store on Sean Mulvoy Road,” said Shane O’Sullivan, Pharmacist and founder of Healthwave.

“Our philosophy is not only to provide the best pricing, but the best pharmacy service to our customers, so we are really excited about the opening of this new store and we look forward to making affordable medication even more accessible,” he added.

HealthPass is Ireland’s first pharmacy subscription service and offers members saving of 50% on average on prescription medication. Healthwave pharmacy has always championed a consumer-centric approach in terms of service and value, since it launched over a year ago.  It has been rewarded with a loyal customer base with more than 10,000 Healthpass subscribers reducing their prescription costs by 50% on average.

“Other pharmacies in Ireland have reduced the mark up on medications, including generic medicines. However only the HealthPass subscription service ensures that consumers pay the lowest price – matching cross-border prices in Northern Ireland and in some cases saving up to 90% on the cost of prescription medications,” he added.

The Healthwave Galway store is located on Unit 5, Mulvoy Park, Sean Mulvoy Road, Galway. For more information see www.healthwave.ie.
