Move Over Book Club, Pilates Club has arrived

November 14, 2017 by admin

Book clubs are a great excuse to get together with friends, but now Dublin based business ‘Grá For Fitness’ is giving us a whole new reason to invite the gang around – Pilates Club.

Pilates Club is the latest offering from Pilates and personal training business ‘Grá For Fitness’ delivering at home tailored Pilates classes for groups of up to four friends. All that is needed is adequate floor or garden space – the rest will be provided by your instructor.

Commenting on her latest business endeavour, founder of Grá For Fitness, Grainne O’Driscoll said: “Pilates is a fantastic exercise system with far reaching benefits, promoting strength, stability and flexibility and encouraging mindful movement.

Pilates Club offers private sessions for small groups, tailored to their level of experience – from beginners, advanced or somewhere in between, at a time of day and location that suits them. It can be a once off treat or a 6 or 8 class course, where you can really start to see the progress.

Who doesn’t have a busy schedule these days? We’re all becoming increasingly aware of the importance of looking after our health and wellbeing and constantly trying to get the work / life balance right.

Pilates Club is the perfect solution to help address that balance! Whether it’s friends who want to spend some time together and get their work out in, parents who are trying to work around their babies’ naps or children’s school runs or even bridal parties in training for the big day!

A large part of my business comes from the corporate world, I go to offices to deliver Pilates classes, it’s a really convenient way for people to exercise, getting away from their desk but not having to leave the office. Pilates Club provides convenience but also a mini escape without leaving home.”

Gráinne first qualified as a fitness instructor and personal trainer in 1994.  After working abroad for several years she eventually found herself in the Dublin advertising business working as an agency producer for 16 years. In 2016, she took the plunge to make her passion her career and founded Grá for Fitness.

As well as Pilates classes – public, private and corporate, Grá for Fitness offers studio based personal training and tailor-made weekend retreats.
