Chateau Lou Casteou in the South of France, this week announces the dates of its first Luxury Fitness Retreat, Body Tonic, 4-8 May, 2016.
Set in the beautiful French Riviera countryside the luxurious fitness retreat will provide a balance of energetic training classes, stunning coastal and mountain treks, meals prepared by a private chef and chateau accommodation.
The event is designed to appeal to all ages and levels of fitness, whether guests are seeking to improve strength and well-being or kick start a new healthy regime.
Guests will stay at the luxurious chateau on an all-inclusive basis. All meals, drinks and wines will be included and talented French chef, Jonathan Levy will prepare healthy and delicious, low carbohydrate nutritionally balanced meals prepared from the best local ingredients. Meals will be served around the pool, weather permitting, in the historic cloisters or elegant, period reception rooms.
The Fitness program will be led by David Higgins and Dan Tegg, plus their team. David is a charismatic and enthusiastic personal trainer with many years of experience. Dan is a highly skilled and experienced tennis and performance fitness coach. Together they will assess levels of fitness and guide guests throughout their stays. Fitness classes are set to include stretching, core and kettlebells, boxercise, TRX strengthening and toning exercises, cardio blast, circuit training, water aerobics, legs, bums and tums classes and a relaxing massage. The programme also includes kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and treks along the stunning coastal routes and in the Esterel Mountains.
The retreat is priced at £1,550 pp (inc VAT) pp for a private en-suite room with a sea or mountain view or £1,350 pp (inc VAT) for two guests sharing a room.
The price includes five days accommodation, all meals with wine, champagne reception on arrival, daily fitness classes, coastal treks, water aerobics, one massage, yoga and stretching classes and transfers from Nice airport.
