Cow & Gate has teamed up with Imaginosity, Dublin Children’s Museum– a child centred, educational & interactive space for young children– to offer a series of nutritional talks with expertise and advice for busy parents. The aim of the partnership is to educate parents on the importance of toddler nutrition through hosting a series of informative events.
The talks will take place on a monthly basis at the Imaginosity venue in Beacon South Quarter Sandyford where parents can avail of one-to-one advice and hear from a number of nutritional experts. All talks are free and parents will have the chance to learn more about nutrition and discuss some of the issues they are facing with other parents and experts. Complimentary Cow & Gate Goody bags will also be distributed at each of the events.
Speaking at the announcement of the partnership, Senior Brand Manager for Cow & Gate Orlagh McGrath said “We are delighted to be partnering with Imaginosity to provide expertise and advice to busy parents. Imaginosity is a fantastic and creative space where toddlers can explore and discover new things in a safe and fun environment. The partnership provides us with a great opportunity to provide nutritional expertise and advice for parents in a setting that works for them and their children. We know from research that diet during the toddler years has a huge impact on the future health of a child and it’s extremely important that toddlers get the early nutrition they need in order to progress in a healthy way”.
General Manager from Imaginosity, Jenny Bohan added, “At Imaginosity we are committed to offering a truly unique and stimulating experience for toddlers and parents. Through our partnership with Cow & Gate we can further extend the services we provide for parents and are delighted to be hosting these events. Toddler nutrition is an extremely important topic and certainly something we know is of interest to our visitors”.
Each of the talks will cover topics of relevance to parents including:
- Food pyramid – important food groups for toddlers
- Ten tips for healthy toddlers
- Menu suggestions, appropriate portion sizes for toddlers
- Healthy recipes & snacks for toddlers
- Impact of early diet on later development
- Fussy eating
Attendance is free and open to all.
