Internationally Renowned Chinese Professor Welcomed in Dublin

June 22, 2012 by newsdesk

Internationally renowned Chinese Medicine Dr. Wang Ju-Yi is in Dublin to give a four-day workshop on one of Chinese Medicine’s hidden treasures – the practice of Channel Palpation. This is an extremely practical, classical diagnostic technique found in the earliest Chinese medical texts.

Dr. Wang Ju-Yi is one of modern China’s most respected scholars, teachers and practitioners of traditional Chinese Medicine. He is a master of acupuncture, with over 50 years of experience. He also taught Western medicine for 25 years and learned martial arts for over 30 years under one of the highest exponents outside of Japan. He developed this classical diagnostic technique which is referenced in the Chinese Classics and is co-author of a book Applied Channel Theory in Chinese Medicine.

“Dr. Wang’s visit to Ireland is exceptional” says Cyrille Bonnard of Equilibre Acupuncture, organiser of the workshop “Dr. Wang, who is internationally renowned, has been practising Chinese Medicine for over fifty years. His knowledge of Chinese Medicine is a treasure and this is his only visit to Europe this year.”

The AFPA, Ireland’s longest established professional register of acupuncturists, are formally welcoming Dr. Wang Ju-Yi to Dublin and will make a presentation to him at a celebration dinner in his honour at KoIshi Restaurant, Ballsbridge.
