This year, Make-A-Wish is hoping to grant 182 magical wishes, and their fundraising walking challenge will ensure they increase funding to help reach their target of wishes in 2016. Participants will also be part of anunforgettable experience, as the well planned and organised walk is one of the most scenic routes aroundEurope; Beach walk in Biderosa and Emerald Coast; Visiting Garibaldi’s footsteps, Caprera; and a hike in the rocky wonder world, Capo Testa!
Susan O’Dwyer, Chief Executive Officer, Make-A-Wish is excited about their new event: “We are overwhelmed by the support we receive each year and this particular event will make a huge difference to our wish families.”
Susan went on to say “We are looking for walkers of all capabilities to join us and Walk for Wishes. Irwin Gill is a vastly experienced competent walk organiser and will be our guide on the trip. The total amount to be raised by each participant for the walk is a minimum of €3,500, which includes all cost aspects of the trip.”
