Ireland’s latest cycling hero Martyn Irvine will officially open the Irish Cycling Show Citywest, tomorrow (9th March) at 10am. www.irishcyclingshow.com
Fresh from his heroics in Minsk, Belarus where he followed up a historic silver medal in the world pursuit championship with an epic victory in the scratch race, Irvine is back in Ireland training hard for the road racing season.
Taking time out from his gruelling schedule, Irvine will be in attendance on the first of two days of the second annual Irish Cycling Show which has moved to the spacious City West exhibition centre this year.
Irvine will officially open the show at 10am on Saturday and will be present at the show for a special interview in the seminar theatre at 2.15pm.
Speaking of his appearance at Ireland’s only dedicated cycling show, Irvine commented:
“Being part of the Irish Cycling Show is awesome, simple! I was a fan from afar last year with the Olympics getting in the way and to be there this year is exciting for me. I’ve seen an enormous amount of interest in cycling since I’ve come home and if I can push the message of how brilliant it is all the better. I can’t wait to meet and greet everyone involved.”
