Thanks to Electric Ireland GAA clubs nationwide are set to make substantial savings on their energy spend as part of the new GAA Purchase Power deal.
Ireland’s leading energy supplier and proud sponsor of the GAA All-Ireland Minor Championships, Electric Ireland have promised to put more Euros in pockets and free up money for clubs to invest in other areas by offering very competitive energy rates for the next 3 years that will provide annual savings of 9% or more on their electricity bills.
The GAA recently launched details of the exciting new programme, Purchase Power which has been designed to secure special, competitive rates, for an extensive range of products and services for the benefit of the GAA and all of its units including Clubs and County Boards. It uses the collective buying power of the entire GAA to secure bulk discounts on common products and services from nominated suppliers.
After a competitive tender, Electric Ireland were successfully chosen as the nominated Energy Supplier. As part of the deal, clubs can now source all of their electricity needs from Electric Ireland and make substantial savings over the next 3 years.
A typical medium sized club with annual energy costs of €4,000 will, over 3 years, achieve total savings of over €1,000 which can go a long way to helping the club pay for other essential items.
Electric Ireland currently services many GAA clubs and are now offering this amazing deal to all 1,600 clubs right across the 32 counties. Clubs who sign up with Electric Ireland by November 13th will be entered into a draw to win €1,000 towards the cost of sports equipment.
