It promises to be a great day, and a great opportunity for participants to raise much-needed funds for our work to protect human rights across the globe.”
“I’m really looking forward to the event and to being part of Team Amnesty myself at this years Gaelforce West. Having looked at the course, I’m a combination of excited and daunted at the prospect at this stage. But I’m keeping myself focused on getting my training right and looking forward to being the fittest I’ve ever been by August 16, though what state I will be in onAugust 17 is less certain!”
Ciara Young of Gaelforce Events says “We are very pleased to have such a worthy charity on board for our biggest race of the year and we encourage all of our participants to raise funds for Amnesty as part of this life-changing adventure challenge”.
“We are delighted that Amnesty are encouraging participants to join their team as we at Gaelforce really believe that being part of a team when doing one of our events provides support, motivation and morale and it is a great help in making it across the finish line!”
“Gaelforce West is a perfect event to challenge every level of competitor and is a worthy vehicle for raising funds for a charity such as Amnesty – if participants feel they have committed to Amnesty for fundraising it will really give them that extra push to cross the line on the day.”
