BOOST Sport has partnered once again with the Antrim Coast Half Marathon as the official hydration partner for the 2025 event. This marks the second consecutive year BOOST Sport is supporting the race, further solidifying their commitment to empowering athletes at every level.

“We’re delighted to welcome BOOST Sport for a second year – the range of isotonic drinks kept everyone refreshed last year and even more people will get to enjoy the flavours in 2025. Including possibly the world’s greatest ever runner, and reigning Olympic champion, Joshua Cheptegei.”, said James.

BOOST Sport drink ranges include the new Limited Edition Cloudy Lemonade, Orange, Raspberry and Mango, Mixed Berry and Tropical Berry, the perfect hydration solution to ensure runners can always perform at their best, explained Lucy Manby, BOOST Brand Manager at AG Barr.
“Staying hydrated is crucial for performance, especially during long-distance events like the Antrim Coast Half Marathon,” said Lucy. “BOOST Sport isotonic drinks are specifically formulated to help replenish the fluids and key electrolytes lost through sweat, supporting endurance and recovery.”
“As the official hydration partner for the second year running, we’re proud to help fuel every runner on the course, from first-time participants to elite athletes – so they can stay focused, energised, and perform at their peak. It’s incredible to think that BOOST could be hydrating the Olympic champion, Joshua Cheptegei, as well as everyone else at this year’s race.”, said Lucy.
Runners taking on the half marathon will be able to refuel at dedicated BOOST hydration stations positioned along the route, providing easy access to essential fluids and electrolytes to help them stay refreshed and performing their best from start to finish.
Ruth McIlroy, Race Director of the Antrim Coast Half Marathon, commented: “At the Antrim Coast Half Marathon, we’re always focused on delivering the best possible experience for our runners. Partnering with BOOST Sport ensures that a vital part of race-day performance —hydration — is expertly taken care of. This collaboration plays a key role in helping every participant perform their best and enjoy a safe, memorable event.”
Whether you’re running, cheering from the sidelines, or soaking up the atmosphere as part of the local community, the 2025 Antrim Coast Half Marathon promises to be an unforgettable day. With BOOST Sport keeping everyone hydrated along the iconic coastal route, make sure to mark your calendars for August 24th and get ready for a celebration of endurance and community spirit.
