Nick oversees the delivery and development of strength & conditioning and sports science across all national and provincial teams. Prior to working for Irish Rugby, Nick worked in the US supporting many athletes within the NFL, MLB, NBA, National Sport Organizations, and Military. Nick is an internationally recognized speaker on human performance and coaching science and author of The Language of Coaching: The Art & Science of Teaching Movement.
Des Ryan – Director of Coaching & Athletic Development, Setanta College
Des is one of the leading youth coaches and performance managers in sport and a world-renowned practitioner and speaker in the field of youth athletic development. Previous positions include Head of Sport Medicine & Athletic Development at Arsenal Football Club Academy, which he held for over 8 years and where he has re-shaped the concept of player development within the world of football. He has previously served as Head of S&C at Connacht Rugby, S&C to Ireland and as Fitness Education Manager within the IRFU, where he spent over 13 years developing the IRFU’s coach and player development system.
Kellie Fennel – Neuroscientist, PT, Nutritionist & Fitness Entrepreneur
Kellie has an extensive sporting background, including playing rugby at All Ireland level, competing in MMA at amateur level, and currently competing in Iron Man events worldwide. Darina Dunne – Commercial Director of Filthy 150 & Bua Collective
Darina is the commercial director of the Filthy 150, one of the largest CrossFit Competitions in Europe and commercial director of Bua Collective, chain of CrossFit Gyms. Darina is currently leading an initiative with Ireland Active to have Physical Activity fully incorporated into Irish Health Strategy.
