Life and Fitness Magazine Ireland is pleased to announce it’s sponsorship of Sports Expo Ireland and The Strongman Champions League. The Sports Expo takes place on Sunday June 6th 2010 at Limerick Race Course from 10am – 7pm.
Sports Expo Ireland is running in conjunction with Strongman Champions League Ireland. It will feature clubs, organisations, athletes and companies from all over Ireland taking part in demonstrations, workshops and talks about their fields of expertise.
This is the 1st ever Irish leg of the Strongman Champions League to be held as part of The International Strongman Circuit Competition. Sixteen professional athletes from all over the world will be competing for the Limerick stage victory and ultimately for the coveted title of Champions League Winner.
As an integral part of the Expo there will be a series of talks and classes given by professionals in relation to health, fitness, strength and conditioning, diet and well being which are all a major focus of our lives. As well as professionals and experts, national and local bodies are invited to attend the event so they can promote their programmes and services which are available throughout the country.

Some of the featured events, which are all included in the admission fee, are as follows:
Women’s interest – demonstrations, talks, seminars and classes specifically orientated at women. Small private 30 minute classes in dance, pilates, yoga, pole dancing, boxercise, self defence etc which act as an introduction to each sport will be held in women only private rooms. It will include seminars on key subjects relating to women’s health, fitness and lifestyle. 30 information stands, outdoor fitness boot camp classes and a whole lot more ensure something of interest for women of all ages and fitness levels.
Men’s Interest – Strongman Champions League Ireland, 60 high tempo sports displays, 30 stands, fitness boot camp’s, giant table soccer, climbing wall, strength and conditioning seminar, kettle bell classes, bench press competition, amateur boxing, mixed martial arts, krav maga classes, archery and paintball target range and a whole lot more.
Children’s Interest – Free bouncy castles and obstacle courses, children’s inflatable disco, and entertainment. Children’s classes will include gymnastics, self defence, sports and a whole lot more.
This will be a high impact, high tempo, fun, energetic and family oriented event.
