Munster Technological University (MTU), in collaboration with MTU Lions Athletic Club, and Cork Sports Partnership sports seminar series returns tomorrow, 12th March, for its final series, presented by Hayley Harrison, coach education officer at Sport Ireland Coaching, focusing on “Planning, Training and the Coach Athlete Relationship”. Hayley has responsibility for developing national and high performance coach programmes across all sports at Sport Ireland.
The seminar series, which returned in January, aims to share key lessons from high performance sports that all levels of sport can learn from.
Commenting on the Sport Seminar Series, Craig Harrington, MTU said: “Our final seminar isn’t just about high-performance techniques – it’s about showing how strategic planning, effective training, and a strong coach/athlete relationship can elevate every player’s experience, no matter the level. We’re excited to offer practical insights that anyone in the sporting community can apply”
