In addition, all the medical doctors in VideoDoc have direct access to me for any management or complex cases which need further intervention.’
VideoDoc CEO Mary O’Brien said ‘We are delighted to partner with Dublin Marathon and Dr. Ui May Tan. The innovative use of our technology for the Dublin Marathon demonstrates the multiple uses that VideoDoc can have. Not only can it be used for those with limited access to GPs in rural Ireland, it can also be repurposed to help train and ensure the health and well being of long distance runners and other fitness fanatics.’
This secure and convenient service can be accessed from anywhere, on your mobile device between 8am – 10pm. With VideoDoc, the runner will not need an appointment, instead they can see an Irish Medical Council registered doctor in less than 3 minutes.
