Evergreen Health Foods will host an evening to experience and learn about the exciting and inspiring world of Raw foods , ‘An Introduction to Organic Raw foods & Super foods’, on Wednesday 24th October at The Westwood Hotel, Galway. Raw food chefs, Hilary Foley and Rubina Khan from Ireland’s Raw Kitchen, will demonstrate how easy it is to add Nature’s most nutrient-dense foods into your lifestyle to help improve health, weight control and increase vitality naturally.
Diet and nutrition are two of the most important steps to realising optimum health, and Raw foods are unprocessed and heated at only very low temperatures, therefore containing more nutrients and active enzymes as they have not been destroyed by the cooking process. Super foods are vital, nutritionally-abundant foods, typically rich in beneficial nutrients and antioxidants that offer fantastic dietary and healing potential. Including natural, unprocessed Raw foods and Super foods in the diet is one way to ensure that you get optimum nutrition to help keep you happy and healthy, especially facing into the winter months.
On the night, Hilary and Rubina will explain how to incorporate Raw and Super foods into your diet and demonstrate how to produce food that not only nourishes but also is full of flavour and tastes delicious. The cookery demonstration begins at 7:30pm and as Evergreen Health Food Stores are supporting the work of The National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI) during October, breast cancer awareness month, the €5 admission charge will go directly to NBCRI.
