Walk for your country during this Olympic summer
WeWard will launch the “Global Walk Cup 2024” on July 26th, the opening day of the Games that take place in France during summer 2024. Participants from around the world will be invited to walk for the nation of their choice. The goal? To reach the highest average number of steps within your country and place your nation at the top of the leaderboard. In partnership with the French Government, this global championship aims to achieve a triple objective: sports, health, and impact.
To attract the maximum number of participants, the app is now available in 20 new countries (listed below), making it accessible in 29 countries across all continents.

The more participants, the more engaging the rewards! All walkers from the top three podium countries will be awarded Wards, exchangeable on the WeWard mobile app for rewards like bank transfers and gift cards. Participants from the winning country will also have the privilege of choosing a charity to receive a €15,000 check from WeWard, giving a meaningful purpose to their walking efforts.
Countries ranked outside the top three will not be left out, as they will also win virtual gifts within the app based on the total number of steps taken together.
