British Weight Lifting announce USN as nutritional partner

British Weight Lifting, the national governing body responsible for Olympic Weightlifting and Paralympic powerlifting, has  announced an exciting new partnership with USN, the UK’s leading sports nutrition & supplement provider.

 

The long-term partnership will see USN support British Weight Lifting’s World Class Programme (WCP), events and wider membership during the course of the next Olympic year and onto the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

 

USN will deliver the latest sports supplementation and advice to BWL’s leading elite lifters on the UK Sport funded World Class Programme, designed to give the athlete’s the very best chance of achieving success on the international stage.Through the partnership there will also be a number of benefits for the wider BWL membership including education, special offers and an exciting new loyalty programme.

 

Drawing on the world’s leading scientific research, USN has developed a series of scientifically proven products utilised by world class athletes across a number of sports including athletics, swimming, rugby and cycling.

 

British Weight Lifting CEO Ashley Metcalfe said “Partnering with USN, the UK’s leading sports nutrition provider, represents an exciting development for British Weight Lifting.  The affiliation will have tangible benefits to not just our elite athletes and coaches but the whole BWL membership. Members will be able to take advantage of deals on the very latest supplements, safe in the knowledge that they have been approved by the Informed Sport quality assurance program.”

 

British Weight Lifting Performance Director Tommy Yule commented “Through our World Class programme we support athletes in a number of areas relating to physical, mental and technical development.
