HELL & BACK, Ireland’s Toughest Physical and Mental Endurance challenge returns to the stunning Killruddery Estate on Sunday 31st January. Featuring prominently for a number of years on RTE 1’s hugely successful TV show Ireland’s Fittest Family, HELL & BACK is now the country’s largest and most popular obstacle course runs. HELL & BACK Trojan will see the grounds of this working farm, turned into an adventure playground for one day, where HellRaisers must complete a torturous 10km trail route, crossing rivers and lakes, climbing hills and mountains and crawling through bogs and swamps.
To survive, HellRaisers must conquer all the elements thrown at them, whether that is the temperamental weather conditions, the gruelling natural environment or HELL & BACK’s torturous and infamous man-made obstacles, including Satan’s Pit, Hell of a Shock, Nightmare on Hell Street and Thru’ Hell & High Water. And you can be sure that the event organisers, Alive Outside, will have a number of torturous brand new obstacles lined up for 2016.
HELL & BACK Trojan is already nearly sold out so book now (www.hellandback.ie) if you plan on taking it on as one of your New Year’s resolutions!!
On the day there will be free massages offered by the students of Holistic College Dublin, free face-painting and there will also be a super selection of culinary treats available for purchase in Hell’s Kitchen (the food village) including Kanum Thai, The Crepe Box, Adare Farm and the Smoke N Grill House.
Alive Outside, strongly advise anyone coming along to check out the event should be prepared to be on foot and to wear suitable clothing and footwear such as wellies! Entry for spectators is free, just make sure you wrap up warm!
