Pierce Maher, former contestant on Masterchef Ireland and participant in the Aviva Get Fit Action Plan 2012 recently teamed up with nutritionist Emma Buckley, to create a series of nutritionally balanced recipes that are quick, easy and delicious.
Pierce, who has already lost 2 stone as part of the Aviva Get Fit Action Plan explains, “I used to make so many excuses for myself, buying a big bag of fish and chips after a long day and saying that it was just because I didn’t have time to make a proper meal, which was just my way of justifying my bad diet. Now, if I think ahead, I can make myself a fresh dinner that is nutritionally balanced in less than ten minutes, and I’ll feel fuller for longer – minus the guilt!”
