With the 6 Nations Championship underway, Glenisk, the award-winning family-owned and operated dairy has today revealed the first of two rugby themed commercials, featuring former International rugby player, Shane Horgan, to highlight Glenisk’s partnership with the IRFU (Irish Rugby Football Union). The Official Yogurt of Irish Rugby, Glenisk has agreed a three year partnership with the IRFU, providing the Ireland Men’s and Women’s teams with their new protein-rich range of Greek Style yogurts. In addition to the Senior Teams, Glenisk is providing yogurt to several of the IRFU squads including the 7s and U20s. Glenisk also supplies Munster and Connacht teams with high protein yogurt.
The ads, entitled #EatLikeThem, show that while we can’t always play like rugby players, we can eat like them. The spots feature familiar rugby manoeuvres cropping up unexpectedly in everyday life.
The IRFU partnership is featured on special rugby-themed packs of Glenisk’s Authentically Strained Greek Style Yogurt, a product naturally rich in protein as a result of its unique crafting. Free from artificial ingredients, the yogurt contains double the protein, an essential nutrient for both fuelling activity and for post-workout recovery.
